A WEEKEND OF SERVING OUR CITY
On October 3rd and 4th we dedicated an entire weekend to serving our city. Instead of gathering for church, we decided to “be the church” and go beyond the walls of our community and to demonstrate the love of God to our neighbors in practical ways.

NOMI NETWORK
Nomi Network’s mission is to create economic opportunities for survivors and women at risk of human trafficking by equipping them with leadership, entrepreneurship, and production skills to become financially independent.
DEFY VENTURES
Defy Ventures works to “transform the hustle” of formerly incarcerated Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EITs) by offering intensive leadership development, Shark Tank-style business plan competitions, executive mentoring, financial investment, and startup incubation.
ORCHARD GROUP / RESTORATION CHURCH
For more than 50 years Orchard Group has planted churches in influential cities in the across America and abroad. Our friend Watson Jones recently started Restoration Church, a creative and diverse community in the city of Philadelphia.

Over 100 people served across Manhattan and Brooklyn with 11 different community organizations. We served almost one thousand meals, planted three community gardens and cared for countless men, women and children living in the margins of our neighborhoods. And that was all in just one day.
